I know I just posted about this website earlier this week, but I am so excited it is worth another post.  I have been waiting all summer and I am super excited to see the new fall issue of Knitty is here.  I love the pattern on the front page, perfect for a christmas gift I would like to make.  Apparently some other bloggers (Baa Bonny Bell, SoapQuiltKnit, Knit Like A Man) are excited about the new Knitty too.

Today I was browsing The Sampler’s webpage, as I have been doing for 2 years now (I have got to sign up for this) I found this hilarious item from Monster Fashion – Wrist-a-roo the cuff inspired by vintage tighty whities. I must say I was relieved to find that these are made from new elastic. I wonder if there are any other crafters out there who find inspiration from tighty whities?

I stopped into one of Pittsburgh’s knitting shops on Saturday and they had a beautiful scarf there in the Claptois pattern.  I have actually completed a scarf in this pattern.  This reminded me of one of the best knitting websites on the web – Knitty.com.  Updated 4 times a year, Knitty.com has a great collection of patterns in their archives.  If you are looking for a new pattern or some inspiration, this is a good place to start.  I am looking forward to the fall issue.
